I will jump into aging and bring you a lot of different slogans, theme directions and songs ... so get inspired to find you ideas ... (sorry not all is serious ! Some should be provoking...are even fun) in the context of active aging and intergenerationel solidarity. This input -  only to give you some starting point

D'abord la question bateau !

C'est qui "une personne agée" ?   50, 60, 70, 80 ?  Hum....
Par exemple,  mes beaux-parents à 89 et 85 ans ne sont plus des vieux "actifs".
Mais vous avez Stéphane Hessel - 94 ans le 20 octobre prochain - qui cherche à communiquer avec la jeune génération.

Maintenant le lien de la commission indique clairement la direction qui doit être suivie.....
Pas de photos de petits vieux tous avachis dans leur fauteuil dans la salle commune d'une maison de retraite !

A broader theme to show the positive aspect of aging - would it be helping younger generation, living an active life or simply enjoying the life.

Let me resume the reflections of this evening

I recommend to all who could not participate this evening to read the posts above... post of Alain or me... to see what we were speaking about. These information can serve everyone as a structure or base or a direction to go for. 

After a long discussion we began to extract themes - not limiting themes, but open and wide which help us to be free and creative in our work. We dont' want to be limited and blocked by some terms, we don't want to repeat offical terms in our theme ... we want a slogan - attractive and different and wide, not repeating the terms of the EY2012, we search a theme giving us a lot of liberty....

Those who could not participate, please add themes or  comment or rate your choice!

je recommande à tous ceux qui n'ont pas pu participer ce soir de lire les post d'avant de Alain et de moi... - vous y trouvez un graphe qui peut aider de trouver sa direction dans son propre sujet et aussi des mots-clés qui peuvent inspirer.

après une longue discussion nous avons commencé à extraire des titres plutôt ouvert et large pour notre expo. Nous ne voulons pas être limités et bloqués par quelques termes, pas répéter les termes de l'AE 2012 mais trouver un thème qui nous ouvre une porte à avoir toutes nos libertés.

The photos were taken at a meeting of the Well Baby Clinic; a group that provides English speaking support and education through pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period.
I have the opportunity to return and do some more photos - this was an initial shot to see if the subject works with the theme.

Suggestions are welcome!!

first I wish all the BeST to  you and all colleagues and my wish for 2012 for everybody : FOREVER YOUNG TO ALL OF US!

I like the concept and approach - so hope that also the other members give their comment in time.
my immediate reflections (only by looking quickly)

Concerning the 2 images : message on the Iphone : Would could be great in my opinion if you can also show a contrast : how the fingers of the young sender is writing the or a message  (Is this possible ? ... and show the perhaps the speed -  and if there would be a mean to catch the speed.... (only a complementary  idea ...

grandma and girl - wonderful this situation - normally in former times grandparents read the books to the kids in this position - now the position is the traditional and the content changed to...

two hands - young hands lead the grandpa's hands - great - content on screen is also interesting in this image - you could play with the content on the screen in several directions... to the first image : if you repeat the situation I would do a diagonal laptop from the left corner to hand/arm ending in the right corner  (that means place the laptop a bit deeper in the image...(with the Iphone hand you have this diagonal...)

what is for me a disadvantage ... the dominating yellow colour because of the light and the quality of the images - but we can neglect this here in these sketches

I think that the series is very interesting - you could eventually also play with colours as you played with b&w stripes (grandma and girl).

hi again, yes, once I also thought  - it is a kind of style... we can compare what is later the best

Dirk : j'aime bien ton idée et tes photos Je les verrais bien telles qu'elles mais sous forme de mini-séries (ou 'short-stories'), c'est-à-dire 2 ou 3 photos ensemble dans un seul cadre; pas en tant que photo individuelles. Sauf celle-ci: http://www.ciel.lu/forum/postgallery.ph … G_2757.jpg qui pourrait "tenir la route" toute seule.
Mais je préfère le concept de 'Short Stories'.

Thanks Almyra for uploading your images. I remind the other exhibitors to upload their photos - I have already to give one photo to potential exhibtion spaces, so I have to select one of the quantity we have seen until now.

Maria, Dirk... please, upload - also the members who missed the last exhib session will get informed on the forum and also inspried.
