Très intéressant, ce "pont vers le passé" - est-ce qu'il y aurait matière dans la ville de Luxembourg pour illustrer/juxtaposer/surimpressioner les deux? (ancien site Arbed à Weimerskirch/Beggen plus bâtiments de banques?)

un peu tard que je réponds - j'étais prise par un projet, mais je voudrais encore vite dire que je trouve ton idée très bonne, Laurence.  En principe Dirk a déjà tout dit dans sa réponse. C'est seulement pour communiquer que les exemples que tu montres me plaisent bien!

I had, .... well ....., similar thoughts about the 1st and 2nd.......

I attach one more, at first I thought this one is too abstract because you cannot recognize the bridge in the background, but at second sight, if you look on the rain drops in the spider web, you will see the typical shape, just the other way around due to the lens effect of the raindrop.

Merci pour votre input hier et surtout l'endurance (comme nous avons fait un peu plus longtemps que normalement). Ceux qui ont leur série finale peuvent faire comme Félix et la poster eux-mêmes. Mais je vais aussi ajouter les séries finalisées dont j'ai les copies sur le forum jusqu'à jeudi cette semaine.

Premier résumé ...           et planning de la suite

Comme on a dit : le format standard est de 75 cm x 50 cm - et dans ce cas, j'aimerai présenter de préférence une rangée de 3 images.  On aura aussi quelques formats différents qui vont aussi bien dans une alcove -  Willem,  Irma et Myriam. J'ai oublié quelqu'un ? Il s'agit de plus d'images en format plus petit ou combiné. Mais le standard sera une seule rangée.

J'ai expliqué également hier: je tiens de ne pas surcharger les alcoves - une rangée d'images pour la taille standard (environ L 75 et H 50 ou H 75 x L 50) garantit une bonne présentation et, en plus,  il faut garder une certaine cohérence dans la présentation ce qui est vraiment importante pour une bonne exposition.  Au mêment moment,  je m'imagine bien les 3 séries de format différent dans la présentation afin d'assouplir l'image complète. Je crois qu'on a de cette façon une bonne solution. L'Abbaye qui n'est pas un "open space" d'expo a des règles ou un genre de  "code" pour la présentation. D'autres espaces _ d'autres possibilités...

Je vais intégrer une proposition pour le projet "en coopération" : visions du pont rouge qui étaient montrées (sous le point de vue du théma). Ce point nous pouvons décider en nous servant de ce forum.

Jeudi  je donnerai aussi mes calculs et informe si l'on a encore un peu d'espace disponible" ou non. Je voudrais aussi me servir d' une alcove pour la présentation du projet et du club.

Ceux qui savent 100 % quelles sont leurs images finales, peuvent lancer leurs impressions, les autres veuillez attendre jeudi, je ne puis le faire que mercredi après-midi. Merci de votre compréhension.

Ceux qui veulent encore voir avec moi et les autres (hier on a pas pu revenir sur tous les points ouverts), mettez votre propositions sur le forum, on décidera les points ouverts ici durant cette semaine de sorte que vous avez feu vert pour l'impression au plus tard pour la semaine prochaine.

Comme jour de collection des impressions je propose lundi le 3 novembre. Le collage sur kappa est organisé par le club, donc on donnera toutes les images (comme l'an dernier) à une entreprise pour le collage final.

Tu as déjà testé le site je suppose? (prix - qualité?) DirkW avait aussi donné des infos au sujet d'impression. 

Et encore un rappel : Ne pas non plus oublier de respecter des règles de bases pour vos agrandissements (contraintes techniques). Le cas ou faire un petit test avant.  Donc jeudi il y a plus

Here is my suggestion.

It is three footpaths on Kirchberg. On Kirchberg the agricultural/natural areas and the big city surroundings are close together.

The first photo is from behind the Mudam. It is a nice walk there with a wonderful view on the city.

On the second one is the Philharmoni at night. I love the architecture and the color play there at night.

The third one shows the sidewalk next to blv. Adenauer, my daily walk to school. 

The order is: spring - summer - fall.

Before coming to the entire project, I think I just forgot to put my pictures for all those who have not seen them. As I had shown them some time ago in the club I load them up here and explain you my idea behind. Tell me which you would select. Don't be worried if I give already my description ideas... I choose this approach for me - don't fear that everyone has now to write a lot! It's only my private approach - the legend can be much more simple ...

We will speak for the legend later ... after having finished with all picture work on the forum.

In my project I want to play a bit with text this time. Pardon me! Tell me what you think. I write in Englsih so everyone understands...

My sub-title for the project would be : Short distance - A city's context   ...

Description : (kind of)

We hurry in airports, central stations, bus stations and malls ... pushing, running with and against other people ... here some of these short distances in Luxembourg.

Image 1 title . Walking homeward - if he wore no overcoat it was pure caprice.
Image 2 title : She stood aside to let them pass ...
Image 3 title : Foreheads - high, small pointed chins, oval faces, plum-shaped faces, hazelnut eyes, green eyes, grey eyes - all focusing to catch the flight.
Image 4 title : Braderie : Coming and going in the mall all day long.
Image 5 title : The clock stroke half past eight. Faces passed, wind-yellowed.
(am still a bit working on this)

It appears that the photos were uploaded in reverse order.

So:

My preference is the last one with the sheep laying down, for the others the text is clear.

Dear all,

I decided to use "asphalt" as background for my "numberplates" pictures. Here's an example how it would look. I will probably have to add a thin black (or white?) line around each picture in order to make the separation between the picture and the background more distinct.

I haven't decided on the cars/numberplates yet. I will probably make a small print of each car/numberplate first and then try out the different combinations. I will keep you posted.
